ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the production resources management in the ecological farms of different size in years 2007-2009. The surveyed farms were diversified by incurred costs as well as by production and economical outcomes. The fluctuation of the production outcomes levels resulted also in fluctuation in the areas of: the productivity resources, the farms profitability and the economical effectiveness of the capital resources in the individual area groups. The noticeable trend was the increase in size of the farms resulted in the smaller productivity (land and total assets). It was caused by several factors such as the organization of production mainly in plant sector, the eco-products prices and the fall of the production intensity (the level of the material costs by 1 ha of agricultural land) in the larger farms. The profitability of the land resources and the economical effectiveness of the capital resources was also decreasing together with the increase in size of the farms.
