Publishing Process

The Journal’s publishing process follows the principles of the Editorial Policy. Please find the detailed description of the process below:
1. Depending on the range of the adjustments needed, the whole proceeding of an article usually takes 3 to 6 months.
2. The Author submits the paper to the Editorial System. The submission is free of charge.
3. Upon receiving the manuscript, the Editorial Team verifies the information given by the Corresponce Author, and in particular checks whether the Author attached signed scans of the copyright declaration and editable forms of tables and figures. The article is verified with the anti-plagiarism program Similarity Check.
4. The Editorial Team picks a Subject Editor, most suitable for the topic given, who proceeds the whole review process. Via the Editorial System, the Subject Editor sends the article to Reviewers.
5. After accepting the invitation to review a paper, the Reviewers evaluate the paper, filling in the review form. The Reviewers present their opinion to the Editorial Team, and pick one of the following decisions on the manuscript:
  • accept without any changes,
  • accept upon minor changes suggested by the Reviewers,
  • accept upon major changes and re-review,
  • reject.

The decision taken by the Reviewers is only a suggestion, since the final decision concerning a particular paper is always made by the Editorial Team.
6. In the case: accept without any changes, the manuscript is ready to be discussed at the Editorial Board meeting.
7. In the case: accept upon minor changes suggested by the Reviewer, the Editorial Team sends the Author a request to correct the manuscript and sets a deadline of 7 days for the submission of the corrected version. The Author uploads the corrected manuscript into the Editorial System in accordance with the Reviewers' comments. The Author should respond to every comment formulated by the Reviewer in the form of a table: first column should list the Reviewer’s comments, second column – the Author’s adjustments. The Author can also respond to the Reviewer’s remarks by presenting own justified opinion. The Editorial Team evaluates the revised version of the article.
